It’s come to this. This is the week leading up to your wedding. You both want to be able to stop during this week and smell those roses. Make time for yourselves and enjoy the leadup. The last thing you want is for this to be a highly stressful week.
In this final week, the focus is on:
- Confirm your spa appointment
- confirming transportation
- Wedding day running sheet
- Practising your vows
- Ceremony rehearsal
- Confirming seating arrangements
- Picking up wedding attire
- Packing your bags
- Laying out your wedding attire
Spa Appointment
Confirm your appointment for a spa treatment if you’d like one – perhaps for the day prior to your wedding
Transportation
Confirm transportation for the wedding day
Listing Events
Make up a running sheet for your day – send it to all the suppliers so they know who’s doing what, when. It’s also a good way to check if you’ve forgotten something – they will certainly tell you, if you have. Your running sheet can be as simple or as complex as you wish it to be!

Practising your Vows
Practise, practise and practise your vows, and any other bits you’re going to be saying (or singing) during your ceremony – and at your after-wedding party
Rehearsal
Have a rehearsal for your ceremony – it doesn’t have to be at the wedding venue, but it will help enormously in reducing the nerves on the day – and it will help both of you and the celebrant know who will be standing where at what times during the ceremony
Last Minute Changes
Check to see if there are any last-minute changes you need to make to your seating arrangements (if relevant).
