The Day Before Your Wedding

Your special day is tomorrow. It’s now time for lots of self-care. Tomorrow, you marry the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with. It’s going to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable days of your life. Make sure you’re in good shape to make it so.

The focus today is on:

  • Staying hydrated
  • Last minute pickups and deliveries
  • Massage and / or spa
  • Wear in your shoes
  • Rehearse your vows
  • Hanging out with each other and with friends
  • Getting a good night’s sleep

 

Starting Day with Breakfast

Eat breakfast and stay hydrated

Last Minute Pickups

Pick up (or have delivered) your wedding cake, flowers etc, if you’re having them – all those last minute things you knew would have to be left until the last minute. Where possible, ask someone else to do the pickups for you. They’ll happily help. You’ve got more important things to do!

Rehearsing The Vows

Rehearse the legal vows, your personal vows (if you’re having them) and your ring vows. The more you can say them and rehearse them aloud, the more it will look like you’re saying them, rather than reading them. It will make all the difference to your ceremony, in terms of its depth. If you know your vows etc really well, it enables you to look at each other while you are saying them, rather than thinking lots about what words are coming next. Become your vows’ best friend!

Hang out With Friends

Hang out with friends tonight – perhaps you’ve arranged for both of you and some of your guests to share a meal together at a favourite restaurant. Special times!
