Some months, there is a little less to do than others. This is one of them! Make the most of the ‘downtime’ but also use this time to check over previous months in your checklist and make sure there’s nothing you’ve not yet considered or taken care of.
This month, your focus is on:
- confirming your guest list
- save-the-dates
- wedding website
Budget and Guest List
Nail down your guest list, if you have one. The size of your list will partly depend on your budget, and the style of your wedding. Naturally, you will only want people at your wedding who have been supporters and allies from Day 1.

Setting up Dates
As mentioned in the “10 month out checklist”, if you haven’t already done so, email or post out your save-the-dates. Consider using a site such as Paperless Post , as a green and relatively cheap alternative to sending out hard copies of cards.

Setting a Wedding Website
If you’re going down the complex wedding path, consider setting up a wedding website with the basic details for your guests who might wish to plan early. Your wedding website can contain all the information about your wedding – it can serve as the invitation centre, messaging centre, contain info about the venue and added extras such as provision of a babysitter, dietary requirements, accessibility, transport to and from the venue, “kick-on” activities after the wedding, and so on.
